Grenada’s Restaurant and Hotel/Motel Association reviewed its bylaws Monday and agreed to
make some changes.
Article VI under the association’s bylaws needed some tweaking, according to members.
The bylaws pertain to representatives to the Tourism Board appointed by the Restaurant and
Hotel/Motel Association. Currently those representatives are Karen Williams, a manager at Shoney’s, who represents the interests of hotels and motels and restaurants on the Tourism
Commission, and Cheryl Stevens of Hampton Inn, who represents the interests of hotels.
Poor attendance of the Hotel/Restaurant board meetings could mean being kicked off the board,
according to discussion at the Monday meeting.
