The Grenada Tourism Commission has a new executive director.
Sandy Smith was appointed to the position Jan. 22 by the board of directors.
Smith replaces Walter McCool, who held the position for five years.
“It was a great pleasure working with Mr. Walter. He is a knowledgeable man, and I really enjoyed my time learning from him,” said Smith.
